MiCore Portal Engine has been developed using Microsoft ASP and JavaScript development languages. Powered by either a Microsoft SQL or MSDE database engine, MiCore Web Portals can be integrated with many network operating systems, email servers and third party applications.

The software requires certain industry standard technologies, hardware and software components to create or host a MiCore Web Portal.

Microsoft Integration

The software leverages key Microsoft Windows Server components and services such as Internet Information Server (IIS), Index Server and Active Directory.

MiCore Web Portals use the scalability and security that Windows Server provides, simplifying portal deployment, management and further development. The MiCore group knowledgebase and content management systems are powered by Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE database engines. It offers immediate out of the box integration and functionality with Microsoft Exchange Server plus other third party applications and email server products.
