"One of the big subjects for 2008 will be the implementation of SANs (Storage Area Networks), whereby several servers store data using a single, consolidated storage array. There are several technologies and a variety of vendors in this field. Nexus can offer independent advice and we have gained a great deal of experience implementing a number of very successful SAN solutions for our clients."

"Server virtualisation has had a huge impact this year and will continue to be a strong theme through 2008. Microsoft will also make greater in-roads with their virtualisation technology when they launch Windows Server 2008."
