Nexus "End of Year" - Projects Round-Up
Nexus has been busy throughout 2007 working on a diverse and exciting range of ICT projects for organisations of all sizes across the south west. Nexus Open Software has worked on a number of innovative website and bespoke software development projects over the last three months.
The Nexus website development team have designed and developed new websites with advanced functionality for a number of high profile clients, using our own in-house multi-lingual Content Management System (CMS), codenamed MiWeb.

Nexus Open Systems are proud of the recent ICT deployment, virtualisation and SAN storage solution projects it has delivered for a number of new clients.
The optimisation of our customers computing infrastructure has been a key topic this year and many organisations have deployed VMware software to consolidate servers, improve the management of computing resources and provide business continuity solutions. For example Connexions Cornwall and Devon Ltd worked with Nexus to deploy a virtual computing environment using VMware software and they are now reaping the benefits of a simplified business computing platform.
The Nexus Technical Team completed a successful project with Torridge District Council to strengthen and optimise their core network infrastructure. Many other Public Sector clients including South Central Ambulance Trust, Teignbridge District Council and Exeter City Council have benefited from the knowledge and experience that Nexus engineers can bring to advanced network infrastructure, security and management projects.
