Nexus Promote Green Strategy – Digital Marketing Only!

Nexus recognises that its operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. The company is therefore committed to implementing any measures necessary to reduce the company's environmental impact.

We continually monitor and rationalise the following areas of our business:

• Energy use
• Waste management
• Travel and transportation
• Product recycling
• Reduction of print and consumables
• Effective use of technology

Recent company initiatives include participation in the government "Cycle to Work" scheme to encourage staff to leave their cars at home and the adoption of a "green" supply chain to eliminate paper-based transactions in the sales and ordering process.

A key part of our green strategy is the Nexus customer portals (powered by MiCore Portal Engine). The customer portal is a secure website where customers have personalised access to quotes, proposals, documentation, software updates and important information specific to their organisation. With online forums, polls and news articles the portal is a place where customers can communicate with Nexus personnel, plus keep up-to-date with what's happening at Nexus. All without having a negative impact on the environment!

The Nexus sales and marketing team have already embraced a "digital only" strategy and paper-based marketing collateral is a thing of the past. Staff business cards are now issued in an outlook V-card format and all sales documentation, from quotations to business proposals are published electronically.

Final consolidation of this policy was the recent decision to only create digital versions of our new company brochures and product datasheets. You can download all of our new marketing material from our website, including:
